In 2012 we developed and installed a custom Computer Aided Facilities Management System (CAFM) for the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA).
The new system allows for the scheduling and assignment of all manner of tasks, from the repair and servicing of air conditioning units, mobile and static equipment, and road vehicles to replacing airport runway lighting.
Work orders are produced within the system allowing for multiple tasks to be performed on each asset item. Each work order has cost associations calculating labour hours (both standard and overtime) and the material costs.
Furthermore, a full history of tasks carried out is maintained for each asset allowing for year on year analysis of the costs and materials used.
We are now offering demonstrations of the system to any company looking for their own customisable facilities management system.
